Climate-neutral practice
We are now "the climate-neutral dental practice". The journey to this (milestone) goal began over 30 years ago as a sustainable practice that was always focused on quality and longevity. In 2018, the goals were recalibrated and we began to dedicate ourselves to climate neutrality, first on our own and then from 2021 together with Fokus Zukunft. We needed tangible data to make concrete calculations: from employee commutes to electricity consumption, fresh and waste water, paper consumption, materials, waste and so on. Together with FokusZukunft, we evaluated the data and drew up a concept for implementation.
The first hurdle has now been overcome and we are officially climate neutral. But to achieve this goal, we had to offset the rest of our ecological footprint by purchasing certificates. To be more precise: by supporting reforestation and the preservation of the rainforest in the Amazon region.
In the coming years, we will continue to follow this path and try to steadily reduce our carbon footprint, become more sustainable and offset less and less. Join us as patients, employees and supporters in taking this important step in the right direction.
