Your Most Beautiful Asset
Bleaching traces its origins to North America, where studies have shown that white teeth are important for professional and personal success. Nowadays, bleaching teeth is an established and - if applied correctly - a gentle procedure for making your teeth more aesthetic. After all, brilliantly healthy teeth are your most beautiful asset.
The procedure for bleaching healthy teeth, conducted by prophylaxis assistants, is different from that for "dead" teeth, conducted by dentists. Both methods are harmless and safe if conducted correctly. Ceramic crowns unfortunately can't be bleached, but the color of fillings can be adjusted.
Our bleaching technique using light has proven to be successful and has elicited positive feedback from our patients. The effects are visible after only one treatment (ZOOM-Bleaching).
The intensive cleaning process can occasionally result in a temporary sensitivity to extreme temperatures. Bleached teeth will become darker again over time due to dying effects induced by food, drinks and tobacco, if they are not re-bleached occasionally. You can conduct this later "home bleaching" without the supervision of a professional using individually fitted tooth guards.
